Q: How do you make your badges? Do you use a sewing machine?

A: All sewing done by The Badge Maker is by hand to accomplish a "made by a soldier or sutler in the field look," and never with a machine. All Metal Corps Badges are cast from Lead Free Pewter and painted/ engraved by hand.

Q: What shipping service do you use to ship orders?
​
A: The Badge Maker is a proud user of the United States Postal Service as it has proved the most affordable and reliable service for the customer.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
​
A: Initially, there were too many complications to warrant international shipping, as it was not cost effective for the customer.  However, as international popularity has grown, if any Non-US customer would like to place an order they may, so long as they pay the full amount for their purchase in USD, and pay the appropriate USPS Small Flat Rate Envelope fees.  They can be seen here: https://www.usps.com/business/prices.htm

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Paypal is accepted along with Most Major Credit Cards(via PayPal guest checkout), and Offline payments(Check or Money order is also accepted.

Q: What if I encounter  an issue with my order?

A: If any issues arise in any way The Badge Maker will do everything to ensure a resolution to the issue.

 Q: What is your return policy?
 
A: Please see Terms and Conditions for each item on their product pages as the return policy is slightly different for certain items.  Generally, if you are totally dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, returns will be accepted and you shall be refunded the full amount paid for the cost of the item once the item purchased has been returned in perfect condition to The Badge Maker.  If the condition is less than perfect the return will be null and void.  Shipping cost for the item purchased is non-refunded, and the cost of the return shipping must be paid by the customer.
 
Q: Do you only make Civil War Items?
A: U.S Army Corps Badges of the Civil War are my specialty, but customer projects are taken all the time for other historical periods.
